Columbia Bank Supports New Partners for Rural Innovation Center

Tillamook, OR (April 20, 2017).  Columbia Bank is continuing a tradition of supporting the community through their latest contribution of $5,000 to Tillamook Bay Community College. The contribution is to go toward the Partners for Rural Innovation Center. The Center opened its doors in February as a collaborative effort between Tillamook Bay Community College and the OSU Extension Service. “We are a very fortunate community to have the resource of the new Partners for Rural Innovation Center at Tillamook Bay Community College. Columbia Bank is proud to help support the funding of this beautiful center and excited for the opportunities that will be offered at the new facility,” Jan Jensen, vice president at Columbia Bank stated.

Located on Third Street across from the 4-H dorm at the Fairgrounds, the Partners for Rural Innovation Center supports innovation, entrepreneurship, job readiness and post-secondary degree attainment for citizens of Tillamook County.
