Career Education Advisor and Enrollment Specialist

Tillamook Bay Community College is seeking an experienced, enthusiastic, innovative, responsible, and highly skilled college Career Education Advisor and Enrollment Specialist to provide guidance and direction for students in the development of their education plans to achieve their career goals.

The Career Education Advisor and Enrollment Specialist serves as a member of the Student Services team under the direction of the Director of Student Services. The person is responsible for advising, recruitment, retention and mentoring of students.  The position will perform overall Student Services processes of admissions, registration, record keeping, data security, and function as a team member linking students with campus services/resources.

Information Technology (IT) Coordinator

This position provides technical support to end users for computers, audio/visual equipment and various software packages. This position is also responsible for assisting with hardware troubleshooting, maintenance and upgrades, website upgrades, some web maintenance and general video equipment maintenance.

Adjunct Faculty Positions
EMS Instructor

Tillamook Bay Community College (TBCC) is seeking an experienced, enthusiastic and highly skilled candidate to serve as the EMS Adjunct Faculty and to work in conjunction with and support of the College’s mission: to provide access to quality education in response to the needs of the community.

The EMS Instructor will be responsible for teaching the two courses required to obtain certification as a licensed EMT.  EMT 105 is scheduled to be taught in the winter quarter (January 8-March 24) and EMS 106 in the spring (April 2 – June 16).  The courses will be held on Tuesday evenings from 6:00 – 9:20 p.m.

Immediate Openings for Winter Teaching:

(January 9 – March 23)

Manufacturing and Industrial Technology (MIT) program:

Rigging (evenings): Provides instruction in fundamental rigging skills, including industrial knots, rigging calculations, rigging and hand signals, gear selection, overhead crane operation, and lift operation. Inspection, safety, and practical applications are stressed.

Spring Term (April 2 – June 15)

3-D Modeling (evenings): An individual experienced in 3-D design; AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or Rhino. Will be using Autodesk platform for class.

Foreign Language:

First Year Spanish: Three quarter sequence using active speaking and immersion techniques

Criminal Justice and Public Safety:

Narcotics and Dangerous Drugs (evening): Provides instruction in the history and causes of narcotic and drug problems, identifying addicts and abusers, and drug classification. Includes laws and rehabilitation.

Ongoing Needs (Master’s degree in discipline required):

  • Vulcanology
