Commercial Truck Driving Instructor - PT

Tillamook Bay Community College (TBCC) is seeking a part time commercial truck driving instructor. Many transportation businesses on the north coast have indicated a significant need for trained truck drivers both local and long haul. TBCC plans to offer a program to assist students to enter the transportation industry by training them in the operation of equipment requiring an Oregon CDL (Commercial Driver’s License).

Tillamook Bay Community College (TBCC) is seeking an experienced, enthusiastic and highly skilled candidate to serve as Community and Continuing Education Director and to work in conjunction with and support of the College’s mission: to provide access to quality education in response to the needs of the community.

Dean of Academic Partnerships

Tillamook Bay Community College (TBCC) is seeking an experienced, enthusiastic and highly skilled candidate to serve as Dean of Academic Partnerships to the Chief Academic Officer (CAO). The CAO manages and oversees all instructional activities and services of the college. This person will also work closely in a team environment with other Office of Instruction personnel who support the goals and objectives of the instructional programs and services of the college.

Marketing Coordinator

Tillamook Bay Community College (TBCC) is seeking an experienced, enthusiastic and highly skilled candidate to serve as Marketing Coordinator and to work in conjunction with and support of the College’s mission: to provide access to quality education in response to the needs of the community. Under the guidance of the executive director of advancement, the marketing coordinator will be responsible for authoring and producing marketing and communication materials utilizing a variety of communication channels, coordinating the generation and implementation of a monthly editorial calendar, and successful implementation of an annual integrated communication and marketing plan for Tillamook Bay Community College. A successful candidate will have strong writing and storytelling skills, strong project coordination skills, experience and knowledge of web based marketing tools, the ability to professionally represent the organization with vendors and partners, and deliver exceptional customer service with a flexible attitude.

Part-Time Grant Writer

Tillamook Bay Community College (TBCC) is seeking an experienced, enthusiastic and highly skilled candidate to serve as a part-time Grant Writer and to work in conjunction with and support of the College’s mission.

Part-time Math Tutor

Math Tutor    Tutors will provide one-on-one or small group support for students requesting assistance beyond the regular classroom instruction for each level of math.

Adjunct Faculty Positions
Biology

Minimum Qualifications:
Master’s in any field and a Bachelor’s degree in Biology with at least 6 graduate hours in Biology (or Master’s degree in Biology).

Anatomy and Physiology 231, 232, 233 (with lecture and labs)  Three course sequence; instructors will provide an introduction to chemistry, cells, tissues, and the integument skeletal muscular and excitable tissues.  The sequence continues with the study and exploration of the various systems of the body.

Nursing, Health, and Human Biology  Instructors will examine health issues and study humans and the influence of diverse factors such as genetics, evolution, physiology, anatomy, ecology, and nutrition.

 

Chemistry

Ongoing Need with flexible day or evening scheduling

Minimum Qualifications:
Master’s in any field and a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry with at least 6 graduate hours in CHEM (or Master’s degree in Chemistry).

Instructors will provide fundamental introduction of the general principles of chemistry, atomic structure, mole concept, stoichiometry, and gas laws,  Course will have limited hands-on lab components.

Math

Minimum Qualifications:
Master’s in any field and a Bachelor’s degree in Math with at least 6 graduate hours in Math (or Master’s degree in Math).
