Tillamook Bay Community College is seeking an experienced, enthusiastic, innovative, responsible, and highly skilled college Career Education Advisor and Enrollment Specialist to provide guidance and direction for students in the development of their education plans to achieve their career goals.
Tillamook Bay Community College is located 85 miles west of Portland on the beautiful North Oregon Coast in Tillamook, Oregon; the county seat of Tillamook County. The County has a population of 26,000. Though TBCC is the smallest community college in Oregon with only 2,079 students in the 2013 -2014 academic year, we are a vital lifeline to our community providing access to certificates and Associate of Applied Science degrees; transfer college credit, continuing education and non-credit courses that support workforce training. Adult basic skills, English as a Second Language and GED preparation courses are important components of TBCC’s programming

Dean of Academic Partnerships

Tillamook Bay Community College (TBCC) is seeking an experienced, enthusiastic and highly skilled candidate to serve as Dean of Academic Partnerships to the Chief Academic Officer (CAO). The CAO manages and oversees all instructional activities and services of the college. This person will also work closely in a team environment with other Office of Instruction personnel who support the goals and objectives of the instructional programs and services of the college.

Information Technology Support Specialist

Tillamook Bay Community College (TBCC) is seeking an experienced, enthusiastic and highly skilled candidate to serve as Information Technology Coordinator and to work in conjunction with and support of the College’s mission: to provide access to quality education in response to the needs of the community.

Office of Instruction: Program Coordinator

General Statement
This position provides oversight and program coordination within the Office of Instruction. Working directly with the CAO, this position oversees processes, systems and coordinates multiple parties to achieve program goals. Responsible for the oversight and monitoring of instructional quality, program coordination (for program with adjunct faculty leads), coordinates students and business for the OST program, and serves as major support for Chief Academic Officer. Maintains student files in audit ready status. May represent CAO as requested at meetings held both internally and in the community. Requires an enormous amount of emotional intelligence, organization, and project management skills.

Must hold a current Oregon Journeyman Electrical License. Course content covers basic and advanced electrical theory including motor controls, system installation, and the interpretation of electrical code.

Hydraulics Instructor

Course content includes hydraulic theory, motors, pumps, valves, and proportional hydraulics.

PLC Instructor

Course content covers Programmable Logic Controller installation, code, and troubleshooting. The college uses Rockwell Automation software for the class.
