Administration and Support Staff
Executive Support Specialist

Under the guidance of the College President and director of development and college advancement, the executive support specialist will provide administrative support for the operations of the president’s office and the TBCC Foundation/Advancement office. The executive support specialist will support the accurate and timely production and distribution of information, prepare meeting logistics, serve in a confidential capacity, contribute to internal and external communications for educational programs and activities and events, and work cross-functionally across departments and with faculty, students, the public and other partners in a professional manner to advance the College’s mission and its goals.

Financial Aid Advisor

The Financial Aid (FA) Advisor works as a member of the Student Services team under the supervision of the Director of Student Services. The FA Advisor is responsible for processing financial aid. The position requires a strong commitment to customer service, accuracy, and compliance with federal regulations.  The FA Advisor must have the ability to perform multiple tasks, proven problem-solving skills, and knowledge of federal aid processes and programs.

Provide collaborative support for Student Services activities and liaisons with college departments in Student Service areas. Function as a team member linking students with campus services/resources.

Institutional Planning and Research Analyst

Under the direction of the President the Institutional Planning and Research Analyst will gather, store, and analyze data collected through a variety of collection instruments.  In addition this position will assist in the dissemination and presentation of database information using visual and graphic design and database reporting tools to College leadership and staff and provide analysis in order to facilitate a sound basis for the College decision making process. This position will also oversee the data portion of the strategic plan, including the outcomes assessment process for academic and service programs on campus.

Title III Project Director

Under the direction of the President of Tillamook Bay Community College, the Project   Director will partner with the Title III Oversight team to deliver the results of this five year grant.  The Director will collaborate with Information Technology, Business Services, Student Services, Instructional Services and Faculty to improve the College’s systems, learning and overall student success.  Areas of responsibility include ensuring compliance with Title III and US Department of Education (DOE) policies and grant guidelines as well as the preparation of progress reports and the Annual Performance Report (formative and summative) to document project activity.  The Director is responsible for ensuring grant success in terms of progress and results.  Highly developed team work, verbal skills and written skills are required to communicate broad and technical concepts and ideas to individuals and groups.  Interactions occur with a diverse set of individuals representing a variety of roles and authority levels.  Because the Title III grant program integrates with all departments of the college, this individual will coordinate with faculty, staff and administrators in all departments and offices across campus to ensure the activities carried out under the grant award are meeting the proposed objectives and are in compliance with the funder’s cost principles.

This position has as scheduled start date of March 1, 2017 and is based on grant funding through September 2019.

Tourism Program Marketing and Administrative Assistant

This position provides marketing programs and administrative assistant support to the Tourism Director for a range of programs and marketing development for the tourism industry of Tillamook County.
