Community and Continuing Education Coordinator

Tillamook Bay Community College (TBCC) is seeking an experienced, enthusiastic and highly skilled candidate to serve as Community Education Coordinator and to work in conjunction with and support of the College’s mission: to provide access to quality education in response to the needs of the community.

The specific responsibilities that are included in this position are: developing ideas for new community and continuing education classes and working to grow the program each year.

Director of Economic Development Council of Tillamook County

The Director of Economic Development reports directly to the Tillamook County Economic Development Council Board of Directors. The Council is a board of ten persons, eight of whom are elected by members and two of whom are specified in the By-Laws; those positions are the Tillamook Bay Community College President and a sitting Tillamook County Commissioner. This position is responsible for supporting all aspects of economic development in the county.

Marketing and Development Specialist

Tillamook Bay Community College (TBCC) is seeking an experienced, enthusiastic and highly skilled candidate to serve as Marketing and Development Specialist, and to work in conjunction with and support of the College’s mission: to provide access to quality education in response to the needs of the community.

Under the guidance of the director of development and college advancement, the marketing and development specialist will be responsible for supporting the successful implementation of an annual communication and marketing plan for Tillamook Bay Community College and Board administration and program support for the Tillamook Bay Community College Foundation.

Part-time Evening Facilities Specialist

Tillamook Bay Community College (TBCC) is seeking an experienced, enthusiastic and highly skilled candidate to serve as Evening Facilities Specialist and to work in conjunction with and support of the College’s mission: to provide access to quality education in response to the needs of the community.

Some of the major areas of responsibility will be to provide support services in the areas of facilities and guest services, campus safety and security, as well as custodial, building, and grounds. This position is generally weekday evenings with occasional weekend coverage when needed.

Adjunct Faculty Positions
Chemistry

Ongoing Need with flexible day or evening scheduling

Minimum Qualifications:
Master’s in any field and a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry with at least 6 graduate hours in CHEM (or Master’s degree in Chemistry).

Communications

COMM 215: Small Group Communication: Group Process and Theory.
Scheduled Fall quarter on Monday nights from 5:30 pm to 9:20 pm

Required Qualifications:
Master’s Degree in Communications OR
Bachelor’s degree in Communications with 6 to 9 graduate hours in Communications OR
Extensive background in Counseling or Social Work with Bachelor’s degree in field.

Foreign Language

First Year Spanish: Three quarter sequence using active speaking and immersion techniques

Electrical Theory and Code

Part-time, evenings. Courses are held at North Coast Recreation District in Nehalem.

Journeyman electrician to provide instruction on electrical theory and electrical code for apprentices in our three electrical programs.
