What is a Career Pathway

Career Pathway is a series of connected education and training opportunities with student support services that enable individuals to secure a job or advance in a field that is high wage and high demand. Career Pathways Roadmaps provide students, advisors and counselors, returning students, and the community with a visual tool that shows options and opportunities and helps them make choices as they design their education and career plans. Each Roadmap includes common information elements and follows standards so that all Roadmaps have a similar look across the State of Oregon.  Roadmaps are included on the degree page for the program you are interested in.

Whether you choose to attend full-time or part-time, we can help you chart a course to success.

A TBCC Career Education Advisor can help you create an academic plan that will keep you on track to reach your goal no matter whether you are seeking to earn transfer credits to apply to a four-year degree at a university, preparing to enter the workforce or simply taking courses specific to the skills you are trying to obtain to advance in your current career.
