Healthcare

TBCC offers healthcare degrees and programs that can get you started or help you advance in the healthcare field. We partner with local healthcare agencies to provide hands-on training that compliments the classroom study. Students in all our healthcare programs gain clinical hands-on training in their choice of pathways including nursing, medical assisting, emergency medical services, or phlebotomy, which all focus on helping students make the best possible decisions regarding patient outcomes.

NOTICE:  Beginning Sept. 30, 2021, TBCC healthcare partners have issued a vaccination mandate that requires all healthcare students to be vaccinated against COVID-19 in order to attend clinicals.  There will not be any exemptions for religious or medical reasons.  Proof of vaccination will be required.  Students planning to participate in a clinical experience fall term 2021 will need to complete vaccination no later than September 15, 2021. Please know that TBCC continues to support all students, no matter what their vaccination status is and will help you explore other career options if this mandate impacts your education path.

NOTICE: It is up to the student to research eligibility requirements in the state for which the student desires to practice

Nicole Martin

"I grew up in Tillamook County. I participated in the health occupations program in high school and upon graduating, I became a CNA. After seven years I went back to school to get my Registered Nursing degree. I chose TBCC because its home. I absolutely loved the small class room sizes of TBCC. This was right up my alley coming from a rural high school. I could get the teachers attention and help if I ever needed it. I never once felt that any instructor wasted my time. They did a great job at teaching the concepts required. I am now a registered Nurse working locally and I love my career."
