Nursing Program FAQ

You can apply for the two-year Associate in Nursing through this website. Use this APPLICATION link and fill out the Credit Student Application at the top to enroll at TBCC. Make sure to select Healthcare as your Program of Interest and then select the AAS in Nursing as your Degree of Interest. Submit your application to complete the process.

Before applying to the Nursing Program all prerequisite courses and requirements must be met. Pre-Nursing students can apply directly to the program using THIS LINK. Contact a SUCCESS COACH to find out more.

Most students who have received basic healthcare education would qualify for being a Pre-Nursing student. The easiest way to check without sending a transcript is to check the PREREQUISITES on the Degree Map. If you have taken the classes listed, or classes very similar, it is highly likely that you will qualify.

Students in this Nursing Program will take many courses related to different levels of care, Nursing fundamentals, and more. Those who successfully complete this Program will be prepared to take the NCLEX-RN Exam. Passing the Exam is required to become a licensed RN in the state of Oregon.

The estimated tuition cost for the program is $9,360. This does not include textbooks, course materials, fees, or the NCLEX-RN Exam. Below is a detailed cost estimate:

  • Tuition & Fees (72 Credits) – $9,360
  • Course Fees – $8,020
  • Supplies – $500
  • Textbooks – $2,500
  • Clinical Compliance Fees – $275
  • NCLEX-RN Exam and Licensure – $450

TOTAL ESTIMATED COST – $21,105
