Voluntary Framework for Accountability (VFA)
The VFA is a national framework designed to measure student success. The Oregon Higher Education Coordinating Commission reports standardized data for each college based on the VFA cohort definition, which is slightly different than the cohort used for our student success indicators. The student success metrics are similar but don’t perfectly align.
TBCC has selected specific peer colleges for comparison with similarly small enrollment (less than 2,000 students). This includes the seven smallest community colleges in Oregon (‘Small Oregon Community Colleges’) and 18 small community colleges from across the U.S. (‘Small U.S. Community Colleges’).
